How It All Began

A Childhood Dream, Realized in BGC

Fable Cafe + Lounge opened on February 19, 2025, inside the Grand Hyatt Manila Residences in Bonifacio Global City. From its very first day, the concept was clear: to create a dining destination that transcends the ordinary — a place where the imagination is the only real constraint.

The space was conceived and designed by Kenneth Cobonpue, the world-renowned Filipino furniture and interior designer known for his organic, nature-inspired creations. His vision for Fable was rooted in the wonder of childhood — giant botanical installations, oversized flowers that seem to grow from the walls, and a carabao DJ booth that doubles as a whimsical centerpiece.

Floating canopies and lush greenery transform every corner of the room into a different chapter of a story never quite told before. No two visits feel exactly the same.

2024 — Conception

The Vision Takes Shape

Kenneth Cobonpue begins designing the space inside Grand Hyatt Manila Residences — a botanical fantasy rooted in Filipino childhood wonder and global design ambition.

February 19, 2025 — Opening Day

Fable Opens Its Doors

Fable Cafe + Lounge officially launches at the G/F Grand Hyatt Manila Residences, 8th Avenue and 36th Street, BGC. The response from the Taguig community is immediate and enthusiastic.

March 2025 — Between Sets

Live Music Series Begins

Fable launches its recurring live music program — "Between Sets" — featuring jazz, soul, and acoustic artists against the backdrop of the whimsical interior. A Thursday night institution is born.

May 2025 — Social Sunday

Sunday Brunch Program Launches

The Social Sunday Brunch becomes a weekly ritual — a curated spread designed for lingering conversations, late mornings, and unhurried dining.

2026 — Chapter Two

Growing the Story
